Please pray for my precious friend. Her baby girl went to be with the Lord on Christmas Eve. Pray for them as they grieve and struggle to praise Him through this storm.
Lord, there is so much we don't understand, so much that is beyond our finite comprehension. The loss of a baby who was so dearly loved tops that list. We don't understand your plan. In fact, there are times like this when we can't even catch a glimpse of your plan anywhere. We are faced with a choice. The choice to trust and believe you will indeed work all things together for good for those that love you. Or the choice to become angry and bitter at this awful turn of events. Faith is most certainly the substance of things hoped for. We trust by faith that we will see little Ruthie again, worshipping around your throne one day..that is what we hope for. We trust that you will work out your perfect plan for this precious family, even through their grief...that is what we hope for. Strengthen our faith as we see you at work here Lord. Comfort a grieving family, a mommy who yearns to hold her baby girl again, a daddy who cannot protect her anymore, brothers and sisters who miss her smile. Please God, turn their ashes to beauty and their mourning into dancing again.
