Latest DIY project

Seeing as how I am not the most patient person, I love easy smeasy decorating ideas. I recently ran across a cute burlap wreath at Where the Heart Is and knew it had to be next on my list. Check out her easy to follow tutorial...it's got pictures...I like that.

Here's my version.

I've been wanting to find some way to incorporate that cute little "S"...fits perfectly don't you think? Depending on the holiday, you could add ribbon of any color, extra little decorations, whatever you have around the house. L-O-V-E I-T! And the best part? The cost!

burlap - found it in my attic - FREE
wire coat hanger - FREE
small black ribbon - from my stash - FREE (yes, technically I did purchase it at some point, but it was so long ago that it counts as FREE!)
large black ribbon - $1.50 at Hobby Lobby
"S" - $2.00 at Hobby Lobby
black spray paint - from my stash
TOTAL COST (including the coat hanger I begged off the dry cleaners) = $3.50

Next on the list? The door is going red! Yes ma'am it is! Red makes me happy...almost as happy as free projects.
