Excuse me, have you seen my lung?

I have been in my jammies since Tuesday.

No, that is not a typo. We are still sick with the flu and bronchitis. My kitchen resembles a black market pharmacy.

I cough so hard every part of my body hurts.

Here comes the good part. Despite feeling worse than I have ever felt in my life, I also feel more loved than I have ever felt in my life. We have been overwhelmed with friends calling and bringing meals to save our family from the perils of too much Captain Crunch.

It is humbling.

It is amazing.

It gives us great cause for thanks.

We may be sick, but we sure are blessed!

  3. Praying you are feeling better. We have had it for over a month...that cough is evil.

I had the flu in January...I have renamed it fluminaria...it is when a child of God gets the flu...because regardles of sickness- we are still bearers of His Light (and goodness!) 'Fluminaria' put a heart of thanksgiving into me, versus the whine that so wanted to explode from my heart.

  5. Friends are amazing. I have been so blessed by meals, prayers, and help these last two months while I was in the hospital and wipped out from the death of my baby and my father. We serve a gracious Father in Heaven.
