Fall lovin'

I LOVE fall.

Cooler weather, scratchy wool sweaters, chili, college football, pumpkin spice lattes...what's not to love?

Of course the term "fall" means different things in different parts of the country.  Here in Texas it essentially means anything under 80 degrees.  Not quite the same as our beautiful Idaho falls, but we've adjusted.  The first day of coolish weather this year means the first batch of fall pumpkin bread is in the oven and smelling tasty.  I've heard tell that Paula Deen has a great recipe for pumpkin bread, but I'm pretty sure it won't beat my wonderful mother-in-law's recipe.  It is U-mazing!  Mike has to work late tonight...poor guy...I'm not sure there will be any left when he gets home!
