Not much blogging going on here lately. Life has been busy and every minute not spent on the daily things has been spent at the pool. When all is said and done, I think we will look back and realize those hours spent at the pool building memories where really the most important.
Summer plans include, but are certainly not limited to:
Relaxing.
Spending lots of time with friends.
Countless hours at the pool.
Relaxing.
Painting several rooms in the house.
Relaxing.
Lots of BBQs.
Watermelon seed spitting contests.
Making homemade ice cream every chance we get.
Water balloon fights.
Working on some organizing projects.
Did I mention RELAX?
How about you? What's on your agenda for the hot days of summer?

We are done with school but haven't found hot summer weather yet. It is 53 right now and the highs will be in the 60s today.
ReplyDeleteWe have a trip planned to go visit family back in Illinois for two weeks. We like to do lots of hikes in the mountains. We will play in the sprinklers. The kids will eat lots of otter pops. We will go play in the river. And a lot of the things on your list will make ours too!

Dear Angela,
ReplyDeleteWe still have a bit of school to complete; but we are definitely outside more.
Our summer:
spend time with family and friends
enjoy the beauty in our backyard
garden
swim
make homemade ice cream
go to the BEACH!!!!
enjoy the lake with dear friends and their boat (they call us their VIP's : ) )
enjoy time with our very quickly growing children while they are still under my roof
Happy Day Dear Friend,
Julie
How fun!! Our summers don't change too much, but we'll be spending more family time together for sure and probably moving...bummer
